DokuWiki is a standards-compliant, simple-to-use wiki which allows users to create rich documentation repositories. Unlimited page revisions allows restoration to any earlier page version, and with data stored in plain text files, no database is required. DokuWiki allows three basic dimension of customization. The look and feel of the entire wiki is configured using so-called templates. The support of syntax and additional content can be customized using the plug-ins. Finally, integration of user database with other systems is maintained using different authentication backends.
